Kensington lock is a kind of physical security lock which can lock our electronic devices in a specific location, so as to prevent theft of the device and its data. The Kensington security lock slot on the device requires an extra Kensington cable lock for protection. When in use, fix one end (not the end with lock) of the cable on a table or other stable equipment, and fix the other end (the end with lock) of the cable in the Kensington security lock slot on the device to avoid the risk of device and data theft, and to prevent the device on the table from falling to the ground.
Compared with other security locks, the significance of the Kensington lock is reflected in its easy operation, convenience and high safety, which reduces unnecessary retrieval costs and losses due to theft of devices and data.
